Register NOW for the Volunteer Kickoff. You don't want to miss it! Once it's done, you'll have to wait a whole year for the next one!
ALL registered adults are invited to attend this year's Volunteer Kickoff. Spend the day celebrating with fellow volunteers and GSCCC staff, attend THREE workshops of your choice, find out what's new, network with other volunteers, and get energized for a new Girl Scout year. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to talk with our community partners to get ideas on programming. Visit the "New Program Materials" table and see what's new. Everyone will go home with a free gift just for checking in!
You will hear from the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities during the welcome session and learn how to emphasize on all girls' abilities. While you are enjoying your lunch, you will discover tips on how to work with the girls to earn the Cybersecurity badges and vote for your Girl Scout Shero! During the closing, you may be one of the lucky volunteers who goes home with a 12-inch cast iron Dutch oven, a ticket to the 11th Annual Samoa Soiree, a Girl Scout sweatshirt, or a camp chair.
