Troop Project Opportunity - Centerpieces for Annual Award Luncheon

An Award Luncheon is held annually to recognize outstanding members who have a great impact on girls, our Council and the Girl Scout Movement. To add a special touch to the celebration, we are requesting donations of centerpieces created by girls to decorate each of the tables. In 2016, we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award for girls, so the centerpieces should reflect that theme. This is a great chance for girls to show their creativity and share their artwork with all of GSCCC!

Out and About Online Learning Module is Now Available!

The online training, Out and About, is now available on the Adult Learning page of the gsccc.org website. This class replaces the former Troop Paperwork and Trip Planning and is required for all volunteers who will be planning activities with girls outside of their regular meeting time and place. The module reviews the GSUSA and GSCCC guidelines for planning age-appropriate day or overnight trips. It covers the paperwork necessary for trip permission and approval. This class is to be completed before a volunteer plans any activities away from a scheduled meeting place, including meeting time activities, day trips and overnight trips within the Council region.
