Summer Camp Positions Still Available

Summer is right around the corner and do you know what you are doing?  How about joining us as camp staff!  Housing, meals, training and pay are provided.  Don’t sit on your couch and say, “I’m bored,”... join us and say, “What’s next?!”  Have fun with the girls climbing, boating, archery, and even axe throwing.  Experience four camps in one summer.  We have opportunities for anyone over the age of 18 prior to June 21, 2020.  Check our website to see camp staff opportunities.  Applying is easy... just click Apply Online.  We are in need of lifeguards, counselors, kitchen staff, and more.  For more information, call 757-548-4743 or email hr@gsccc.org.

UPDATE: Tomahawk/Axe Throwing Safety Activity Checkpoint

Safety Activity Checkpoint for Tomahawk/Axe Throwing on page 159 has been updated with this additional statement from GSUSA: For a four lane range, you need one trained facilitator or instructor plus one additional adult that is familiar with the range watching the throwing line. There then needs to be additional adults to meet regular girl-to-adult ratios for girls not actively on the throwing line.

Safety Activity Checkpoints is available on gsccc.org.
