GSCCC has the opportunity to nominate two young women. The GSCCC application process closes at 4:30 p.m., August 12, 2016. Applicants will be selected by August 18, 2016 and will need to complete the GSUSA online application by August 19, 2016.
The most qualified applicant is organized, completes tasks efficiently, and does not have to be asked twice. She has a finger on the pulse of youth culture and has ideas about how to keep Girl Scouts modern and current. She is a shining star and continuously brings energy and positivity to her troop. She is able to work with adults to communicate the voices of her peers. In other words, she is a girl of the people.
In group settings, she is able to share her opinions without hesitation but recognizes the best moments to sit back and listen. She always tries to include other girls in order to hear everyone’s opinion. She brings new ideas to the table and challenges other Girl Scouts to broaden their horizons. She constantly keeps everyone up to date on current events and trends.
Responsibilities:

- Work in small groups on tasks between meetings
- Follow updates and engage with others on the online community
- Maintain network of younger troops who will provide feedback on relevant materials through the Innovators
