Get Ready for the Customer Engagement Initiative (CEI)

Get ready. In the next six months, big things are happening at Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast, and we need your help preparing. First, here’s a recap of the new and awesome things you’ll start seeing.
  1. Organizational realignment – The new structure will provide more specialized task-focused functions for staff to make us more efficient in serving you, our amazing members.
  2. New online registration – Raise your hand if you think there are too many steps during online registration? <raises hand>. We’d like to fix that. By December, new members will see a simplified registration process that includes finding a troop with openings in the area of their choice.
  3. Volunteer Toolkit – This will give you everything you need to plan your year with your troop and much, much more!
  4. New website – By November, you will see a new website for Girl Scouts of Colonial Coast consistent with councils across the country. Would you like to see a preview? Check out our sister council’s website.
Now, we need your help. Troop leaders and co-leaders, filling out our online Troop Opportunity Catalog form will help us build the list of troops available for girls to join and the list of volunteer opportunities. If you’ve already completed this form, THANK YOU!

We’ve been listening and I hope you’re excited as we are. These are changes that all Girl Scout councils need. Many already have these changes in place, and the future looks bright. If you have questions, email support@gsccc.org.
