Leadership Development Program Survey
GSCCC is working with a team of college students and Girl Scout Gold Award recipients to create a leadership development program for girls. This program will enable girls to earn their VIT (Volunteer in Training) pin while learning to become stronger leaders in their troops, service units and communities. We want you to be part of the planning, too! The team is conducting a needs assessment to find out what girls (and their trusted adults!) are looking for in a leadership development program.

Council Recognition for Girl Scout Bronze Awards and Girl Scout Summit Awards
You asked and we listened! During the town hall meetings, Girl Scout volunteers were loud and clear about their desire for the Council to recognize not only the Girl Scout Gold and Silver Awards, but the Girl Scout Bronze Award and the Girl Scout Summit Award as well. Recognition for both of these higher awards is now available.
Council recognition of Girl Scout Bronze Awards may be requested by completing an online form. Once the form is complete, we will send the girls a Girl Scout Bronze Award certificate signed by GSCCC's CEO, Tracy Keller. The survey is available here.

How Did Your Volunteer Year Go?
As summer approaches, many troops and volunteer positions begin to wind down until the start of a new school year. Now is a great time to assess how your year went and whether you received the support you needed as a volunteer. Take a few minutes to complete the End of Year Volunteer Self-Assessment to reflect on your accomplishments and to let us know how your year went.
The survey will be available until June 30, 2016.
