Join us for the 33rd Annual Pungo Strawberry Festival Parade. GSCCC will have a group walking in the parade, so plan to join us and then visit the festival for some yummy Strawberry Festival fun after the parade! Contact your Service Unit Parade Chair or Event Coordinator with your troop's RSVP (number of girls and adults) no later than May 1, 2016.
Event Details
- Parade parking is at the Coast Guard Station. The gates will be locked at noon and cars will need to be moved to longer term parking that is available along the parade route for a fee.
- Be prepared. The weather can and will be unpredictable, so come ready. Bring hats, sunscreen, umbrellas and hand sanitizer. There are port-a-potties on site.
- Come prepared to wait. Have something to do to keep the girls occupied while we wait for staging.
- Please no strollers or wagons.
- We are not permitted to pass out candy.
- No pets are allowed at the parade.
- Girls participating in the parade are asked to wear their Girl Scout sash or vest.
- This is a walking parade, closed toe shoes are required.
