ODU 10th Annual Hampton Roads Conference for Girls and Young Women

Old Dominion University will host the 10th Annual Hampton Roads Conference for Girls and Young Women "Girls Rule the World," on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in Webb University Center.

The daylong conference provides workshops and presentations that are intended to inform and empower girls and young women to become productive citizens and leaders. Last year's conference was attended by almost 400 girls, young women, parents and other interested adults. The conference is free and open to all young women ages 14 - 17 and accompanying adults from the Hampton Roads region and beyond.

Gear-up and experience hands-on fire, emergency service and law enforcement activities. At the end of camp, we will celebrate your accomplishments at a graduation ceremony with family and friends.

Registration is now open for the Kempsville Entrepreneurship and Business Academy Workshops. The Academy faculty and students will be leading two workshops: Entrepreneur and Comparison Shopping. Girl Scout Cadettes will learn how to think like an entrepreneur and learn how to go online to find the best deals on the best products in the safest way possible.

This Academy-Girl Scout partnership is the Silver Award project of Sydney Brown, Troop 571.

Early Renewal Continues - The Hottest Ticket in Town

Early Renewal is Officially Underway!

Troop Leaders - Now is a great time to register your troop for next year! Not only will each of your girls receive an Early Bird patch, you'll be ahead of the game for this fall. You may also be eligible for a number of additional early renewal incentives.

All troops who register 90% of their girls AND two adults by April 16, 2018, will receive a $30 coupon* for the Council retail shop. *Coupons will be mailed out by April 20, 2018, and must be redeemed by May 31, 2018.
