Girl Scout Senior and Ambassador Opportunity – Apply to be a Girl Innovator with GSUSA

GSUSA is seeking qualified Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors to serve as National Girl Innovators. This group is made up of 12 girls from across the country and directly advises the Girl Experience team at GSUSA. In addition to providing relevant and rapid feedback for evolving girl programs, these girls have the chance to inform new marketing assets, merchandise items, surveys, and much more. The members of the National Girl Innovators are exemplary Girl Scouts who share a common interest in making this organization better for their fellow Girl Scouts.

GSCCC has the opportunity to nominate two young women. The GSCCC application process closes at 4:30 p.m., August 12, 2016. Applicants will be selected by August 18, 2016 and will need to complete the GSUSA online application by August 19, 2016.

The most qualified applicant is organized, completes tasks efficiently, and does not have to be asked twice. She has a finger on the pulse of youth culture and has ideas about how to keep Girl Scouts modern and current. She is a shining star and continuously brings energy and positivity to her troop. She is able to work with adults to communicate the voices of her peers. In other words, she is a girl of the people.

In group settings, she is able to share her opinions without hesitation but recognizes the best moments to sit back and listen. She always tries to include other girls in order to hear everyone’s opinion. She brings new ideas to the table and challenges other Girl Scouts to broaden their horizons. She constantly keeps everyone up to date on current events and trends.
